Breast Pump Template - Updated for Ovia with retail info CBC

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Your MESSA plan covers one breast pump per pregnancy. It must be prescribed by a physician and purchased from a durable medical equipment supply company/hospital or retail store.

If you get the breast pump from a participating durable medical equipment supplier, they will be able to go over what models are available at no cost to you.

If you choose to purchase a breast pump from a retail store, MESSA will reimburse up to $300 for the cost of the breast pump; MESSA does not reimburse for sales tax and shipping. You can submit copies of the receipt and prescription from your doctor to MESSA for reimbursement.

As a covered benefit, MESSA provides the Ovia pregnancy app to eligible members. The Ovia pregnancy app gives you access to articles and tips to help you achieve your goals, in-app messaging with a registered nurse health coach, information about your maternity and family benefits, and more. To get started, download the Ovia Pregnancy app. Enter your information as it appears on your MESSA card. When prompted, select "I have Ovia Health as a benefit,” then select “MESSA” as your health plan.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the MESSA Member Service Center at 800.336.0013.

 Sincerely,
