SUMMARY

The VCP_iOT network offers external internet access exclusively for approved Internet of Things (IoT) devices deployed in Plant, Warehouse, or Office locations. 

This network does not facilitate or permit any connection to the internal Colgate network.

Devices such as Smart TVs,  Smart Glasses, Google Chromebit, Google Chromecast, Google Jamboard, Amazon Echo, Tablets, Temperature and Humidity Sensors are use cases for VCP_iOT. 

The devices listed above are current examples of what the security team has approved. 

Any new devices must first be reviewed and approved by the security team in order for them to be connected to VCP_iOT.

Kindly follow below steps in order to request VCP_iOT access:

1. Please raise Fresh Service ticket with the form “iOT Device Wi-Fi Request Form".

2. User will be notified via email once access has been granted.
