Comm100 X2 Upgrade - Resolved Issues

Issues have arisen after the upgrade from Comm100 X to Comm100 X2 platform. This article gives an overview of the issues that we have resolved caused by the upgrade.

The following upgrade issues have been resolved, and improvements have been made to facilitate the use of the X2 platform:

  • The Comm100 Agent Console Desktop App does not update to the new version automatically. kb-resolved-issues-01.png
  • In the Agent Console, the value of system fields and custom variables does not show correctly in the due section on the Info tab, and the value moves to Information collected by chatbot section instead.

  • The New Filter button for adding custom filter conditions does not show in the Live Chat > History > Chats tab of the Control Panel.kb-resolved-issues-03.png
  • Agents deleted in the X platform appear again in the Live Chat > Settings > Auto Distribution tab, which results in an error when the system saves the changes made for an existing agent.

  • The departments deleted in the X platform appear again in the Live Chat > Campaign > Routing rules tab.
  • Some agents cannot log in to the Control Panel or Agent Console successfully. The following shows an example.kb-resolved-issues-05.png
  • When a pre-chat custom field is used as a routing rule condition in the X platform, the field value in the condition gets lost after upgrading to X2, and the pre-chat form cannot be submitted.
  • Some visitors cannot start a chat. A spinning window as follows shows.

  • Some agents can log in via the dash login page (for example, https://dash13.comm100.io/login/), however cannot log in from the secure login page.
  • Some accounts cannot change the agent display name on the Control Panel.kb-resolved-issues-07.png
  • Some SMS and WhatsApp numbers cannot receive messages via Ticketing & Messaging.
  • A Get Started guide which targets only new sign-ups appears on the lower right corner of the Control Panel.
