How do you re-admit a discharged patient?

After discharging a patient, you may need to bring that patient back on to service. In that case, you will readmit the patient by creating a new admission/episode by performing the following steps: 

1) Click Go To and select Patient Manager. 
2) Click the first letter of the patient's last name. 
3) Click Show/Hide Inactive to view the discharged patient. 
4) Click the patient's name. 
5) Click View on the toolbar. 
6) Select Episode List. 
7) Select Pending Admission from the Add drop-down menu in the upper, right-hand corner. 8) Enter Pending Admission information. 
9) Click Save. (You return to the Episode List page.) 
10) Click File on the toolbar and select New Episode. 
11) Enter New Episode information. 
12) Click Add Episode in the bottom, right-hand corner of the page. You arrive at the patient's Episode Manager page.
