You can schedule tasks such as clinical assignments from the patient’s Episode Manager page. Once a task is scheduled, it's accessible from the assigned user's HotBox.
To schedule a task from the patient’s Episode Manager page perform the following steps:
1) Select the discipline associated with the task.
2) Click the task's expected date(s) of service or completion on the calendar.Click the patient's name.
3) Select the task type from the dropdown list under Schedule Tasks.
4) Confirm (or assign) the clinician for the task in the Assign To: dropdown.
5) Repeat, as desired, to schedule multiple tasks. If you add a task by mistake, simply click the Clear option in the appropriate row to remove it. Click Save. (You return to the Episode List page.)
6) Click the Insert/Update Task(s) button.
The task(s) are added to the Task List and the calendar date(s) are shaded to indicate a scheduled task on that date.
