You must select the correct benefit period on which the patient was admitted. It is likely that the benefit period on which the patient was admitted was incorrectly selected. For your reference: First and second benefit periods are 90 days in length Third and following benefit periods are 60 days in length To verify the correct benefit period selection, from the patient's benefit period click View from the blue toolbar Select Admission Summary, click on the admission date to access Admission Summary Page, and review the Admission & Benefit Period Information section to confirm information is set-up correctly.
