Submit a missed visit

To record and submit a missed visit, from the HotBox:

  1. Click the missed visit icon  on the task row to access the Missed Visit form.
  2. Indicate whether or not you traveled to the patient for this missed visit.
    1. If Yes is selected, you must indicate the time you attempted to make the visit.
      Time must be entered in AM/PM format. For example, 1:00 PM is entered as 01:00.
      You can enter the time directly yourself or use the arrows to increment each value.
  3. Enter the Date of the missed visit.
  4. Select a Reason for why the visit was missed.
  5. Enter a Comment to explain the reason selected.
    1. Select a template, if applicable.
  6. Indicate if an order was generated related to the missed visit.
  7. Indicate if the physician was notified.
    1. If Yes, select the notification method and select the physician.
    2. For Other, enter the notification method.
  8. Indicate if your supervisor was notified.
    1. If Yes, select the notification method.
    2. For Other, enter the notification method.
  9. Electronically sign the document, if required.
  10. Click the Submit button.

Results

  • The document is now available for review in QA Manager.
  • The task status is updated to:
    • If electronically signed and submitted: "Submitted with Signature (MV)"
    • If submitted with no signature: "Submitted to Case Manager (MV)"
