To record and submit a missed visit, from the HotBox:
- Click the missed visit icon
on the task row to access the Missed Visit form. - Indicate whether or not you traveled to the patient for this missed visit.
- If Yes is selected, you must indicate the time you attempted to make the visit.
Time must be entered in AM/PM format. For example, 1:00 PM is entered as 01:00.
You can enter the time directly yourself or use the arrows to increment each value.
- If Yes is selected, you must indicate the time you attempted to make the visit.
- Enter the Date of the missed visit.
- Select a Reason for why the visit was missed.
- Enter a Comment to explain the reason selected.
- Select a template, if applicable.
- Indicate if an order was generated related to the missed visit.
- Indicate if the physician was notified.
- If Yes, select the notification method and select the physician.
- For Other, enter the notification method.
- Indicate if your supervisor was notified.
- If Yes, select the notification method.
- For Other, enter the notification method.
- Electronically sign the document, if required.
- Click the Submit button.
Results
- The document is now available for review in QA Manager.
- The task status is updated to:
- If electronically signed and submitted: "Submitted with Signature (MV)"
- If submitted with no signature: "Submitted to Case Manager (MV)"
