SUMMARY

In order to access SSH enabled systems while connected to the VPN you will now be required to proxy the SSH connection through Secret Server,  our Privileged Access Management platform. 

This replaces the previous process utilized where a direct SSH connection was established between your computer and the target system. 

The reason for this change is to improve the level of security by leveraging the features within Secret Server.

This document will guide you through the connection process: 

1) Gaining access to Secret Server(if you do not already have it)

2) Creating the secret that will be used for launching a SSH session.

NOTE:  This document assumes that your account already has permissions for SSH access to the server you are connecting to.
