Medical Cannabis Appointment

Medical Cannabis Appointment Guidelines:

Patients seeking medical cannabis certification can schedule appointments either in-person or through telemedicine. To ensure a smooth process, specific requirements must be met before the appointment can be completed successfully.

Appointment Options:

  • In-Person Appointments

  • Telemedicine Appointments

Both types of appointments follow the same procedural requirements.

Patient Requirements:

  1. Active Email Address
  • An active, valid email address is required in order for patients to receive medical cannabis.
  • The email address is used to receive documents, instructions, and communications necessary to complete the process.

  • Without a valid email address, the appointment cannot be completed successfully.

Call Center Guidelines:

Call center agents must inform every patient scheduling a medical cannabis appointment of the email address requirement. This should be clearly communicated during the scheduling process.

Suggested script:

“In order to receive medical cannabis, you’ll need to have an active email address. This is required to receive and complete the necessary forms. Without it, your appointment cannot proceed.”
